The 2023 Audi e-tron was spied while it was undergoing testing in Scandinavia
The 2023 Audi e-tron facelift has been spied recently while the German brand put its electric SUV to the test.
Painted in blue, the development mule of the e-tron has its fenders, bumpers, lower portion of its doors and tail lamps with camouflage wrap.
Thus, it is clear that these parts will be all-new when the refreshed electric vehicle (EV) gets revealed in 2022 alongside its sibling, the e-tron Sportback.
The ‘Singleframe’ grille will be new, and the side air intakes in the front bumper will have changed shape as well. Also, the body cladding could be tweaked throughout and there seems to be a mildly updated taillight cluster too.
Riding on small diameter aero-style wheels fitted with snow tyres, the 2023 Audi e-tron facelift should also feature interior updates as well.
Of course, there will be updated software and new trim options inside the electric car, while more features should also come as standard next year.
But, the biggest change would be pertaining to the e-tron’s powertrain. It is expected that the car will come with up to 600 km (claimed) range due to a new battery, efficient motors and a better energy recuperation system.
If true, the improvement in range would be highly appreciated by customers, since the e-tron 55 and e-tron Sportback 55 sold in India come with a 95 kWh battery pack and have a claimed range of up to 484 km on a single charge.
