The price of the 2022 Yamaha FZS 25 is Rs. 4500/- more than the base variant’s cost
India Yamaha Motor has launched the 2022 FZS 25 at a price of Rs. 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), today. The motorcycle comes in 2 new colours now.
Replacing the earlier Dark Matte Blue and Patina Green shades, the quarter litre bike will now be available only in Matte Copper and Matte Black paint options.
Also, at present, the motorbike costs Rs. 4000/- than it did in June last year when the Japanese 2-wheeler maker slashed the asking price of the entire FZ 25 range.
While the FZS 25 has gotten new colour choices for 2022, the base FZ 25 model continues to be available in Metallic Black, Racing Blue and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Editions.
However, all three colourways now cost the same at Rs. 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Thus, the Metallic Black and Racing Blue variants have seen a price hike of Rs. 4000/- when compared with June 2021.
The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition of the FZ 25 was introduced at Rs. 1,36,800/- in July last year and has seen its asking price increase by Rs. 2000/- in the meanwhile.
No other changes have been made to either variant of the quarter litre motorcycle that is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder engine tuned to produce a maximum of 20.8 PS and 20.1 Nm. The motor is teamed to a 5-speed gearbox.
