The much awaited 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser J300 has just leaked ahead of its global debut. The mammoth of an SUV which is very popular in the middle-east has got a makeover in its new generation avatar.
Looking at the 2022 Land Cruiser J300 leaked pictures you cannot miss the immense presence of this white elephant. The additional details on the huge front grille and the big bulge on the bonnet adds to the muscular appearance of the Land Cruiser.
The slim headlight cluster and the new grille make its look more premium. The Land Cruiser J300 just looks like a tall building from the side profile. The roofline just doesn’t dip at the rear and lends it a proper boxy SUV silhouette, which is a good thing. Toyota has managed to keep the typical SUV look with the new generation Cruiser.
It will be offered with all the bells and whistles one could expect from the next gen LC. The dashboard will be revised with a new layout having a floating touchscreen infotainment system and a new steering wheel design. No doubt there will be a lot of room for the passengers in this huge SUV.
The powertrain options haven’t been revealed yet but we expect the J300 to be offered with 3.3-litre turbo diesel engine option along with a twin-turbo V8 for the range topping variants and a long list of engines for different markets.
It will hit the international markets by the end of this year, expect to see a lot of these in the UAE. Yes, India launch is on the cards but as always it will be a CBU direct import and will cost a bomb which is expected to be upwards of Rs. 2 crores (ex-showroom).
