The 2022 Tata Tiago will come with spruced up exterior and interior
Tata will launch the CNG variants of the Tiago and Tigor on 19th January 2022. In addition, the Indian automaker is also likely to roll-out changes to both the hatchback and compact sedan on the same day.
2022 Tata Tiago –
The updated 2022 Tata Tiago will get a new Midnight Plum colour, while the Pearlescent White shade will be replaced with Opal White. The other paint options – Arizona Blue, Daytona Grey and Flame Red – remain untouched.
What’s more, the top-of-the-line XZ+ and XZA+ variants of the refreshed Tiago will also come with projector headlamps, LED DRLs and chrome embellishment throughout the exterior, including on the radiator grille, door handles and boot lid.
Further, Tata will also change the cabin theme of the hatchback to Black and Beige, but the overall interior design will nonetheless be identical to the current model.
The Tata Tiago costs between Rs. 4,99,900/- and Rs. 7,07,900/- (prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi) at present, with the XZ+ and XZA+ grades priced at, respectively, Rs. 6.41 lakhs and Rs. 6.96 lakhs.
Dual tone variant of the top grades cost an additional Rs. 12,000/-. Suffice it to say that the updated model will cost a bit more than it does now, excluding the addition of CNG variants which will cost more than the corresponding petrol grades.
2022 Tata Tigor –
On the other hand, the 2022 Tigor will be offered with a new Magnetic Red paint option which will replace the existing Deep Red colour. However, this new shade will be available only in the top-spec XZ+ and XZA+ grades.
Moreover, like with the hatchback on which it is based, the compact sedan’s Pearlescent White colour will be replaced by a new Opal White paint option.
In addition, Tata will also provide customers the option of choosing an Infinity Black roof in the top variants of the Tigor, while the 15-inch dual tone alloy wheels now come painted in a shade named Sonic Silver.
The car will be equipped with auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a Black and Beige interior with new seat fabric and chromed interior door handles for 2022.
As for the price, it goes without saying that the updated Tigor will cost more than it does now, which is between Rs. 5,67,900/- and Rs. 7,84,900/- (prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi), with the XZ+ and XZA+ trims coming in at Rs. 7.30 lakhs and Rs. 7.85 lakhs, respectively.
