The asking price of the 2022 Skoda Kodiaq’s top model could nudge Rs. 40 lakhs
The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq facelift is expected to be launched with a base price of Rs. 36.50 lakhs (ex-showroom) on 10th January.
In all, the facelifted SUV will be offered in 3 grades namely Style, Sportline and Laurin & Klement (L&K) and the middle variant is set to cost Rs. 37.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
It will feature blacked exterior elements like the grille, ORVMs, roof rails, window trims and wheels, while inside, staying to true to its name, the variant will come with sport seats and there will also be a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
It goes without saying that the top-spec L&K grade will have the most equipment in the model range, featuring goodies such as ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), off-road mode, among others.
An image of this variants’ centre console has already leaked onto the internet and it is expected that the 2022 Skoda Kodiaq facelift price for this variant will be close to Rs. 40 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Skoda has also let out some of the exterior features the top-spec variant of the SUV will come with. Apart from featuring ample chrome embellishment, the Kodiaq will have LED headlights with DRLs, dynamic indicators, electric tailgate with motion sensor, dual tone alloys, functional roof rails, and so on.
Power comes from a 190 PS, 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine teamed to a 7-speed DSG that will send the motor’s power to the all-wheel drive system. Also, the Kodiaq will be equipped with a whole host of safety tech.
