All variants of the 2022 Porsche Macan facelift have all-wheel drive and 7-speed PDK gearbox
Porsche has revealed the Macan facelift for model year 2022 and in typical fashion, the carmaker has only provided subtle design changes to the vehicle.
The front bumper has been updated, the DRLs have been repositioned ever so slightly, the side blade is now a 3D textured surface, while at the back, there is a larger diffuser, giving the crossover a more sporty look.
As standard the 2022 Porsche Macan facelift will come equipped with LED headlights, Sport Design ORVMs and 19-inch alloy wheels (1 of 7 new wheel designs).
The current range-topper, the GTS is fitted with Sport Design side skirts, clear LED taillights, black tailpipes, 21-inch wheels, Porsche Surface Coated brakes, red-coloured calipers and stiffer adaptive air suspension.
On the inside, Posche has given the 2022 Macan facelift a new GT Sport steering wheel, a redesigned centre console (inspired by the Taycan), a shorter gear selector and larger stowage.
As standard, the performance crossover also gets a 10.9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and navigation, Lane Departure Warning and Park Assist, while other driver assistance systems are optional.
For now, the 2022 Macan facelift has been revealed in standard, S and GTS forms. The standard car has a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that puts out 261 HP and 400 Nm of torque. When equipped with Sport Chrono pack, it can do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 5.8 seconds.
Then comes the Macan S which has a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 that is good for 375 HP and 519 Nm and it can complete the 0-100 km/hr dash in 4.4 seconds (Sport Chrono).
The range-topper is the more sportier GTS that also uses a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6. In this model the motor churns out 434 HP and 550 torque. It can smash the 0-100 km/hr run in 4.1 seconds and hit 272 km/hr tops.
All of the above-mentioned variants have a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive and yes, they have all gained power this time around.
