2022 Maruti S-Presso launched with updated price list and a more fuel efficient engine
2022 Maruti S-Presso launched, price starts from Rs. 4.25 lakhs (ex-showroom). The car has been updated with a new engine, the K-Series 1.0-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. It produces 68 PS of power at 5500 RPM and 89 Nm torque at 3500 RPM.
Most importantly, the S-Presso now offers enhanced fuel-efficiency – 17 percent higher in AGS and 14 percent higher in MT. It returns 25.30 km/l in Vxi(O)/Vxi+(O) AGS, 24.76 km/l in Vxi/Vxi+ MT and 24.12 km/l in Std/Lxi MT.
Along with the more frugal engine, Maruti is offering new features with the car including ESP with Hill Hold Assist across all AGS variants and electrically adjustable ORVMs (Outside Rear-View Mirror) in the Vxi+ and Vxi+(O) variants.
Apart from these changes, there are no other updates. The exterior and interior remains unchanged and there are no new colours on offer as well.
Strangely, the carmaker is not offering CNG option with this update. They are expected to introduce the CNG variants later.
