As many as 11 variants of the 2022 Maruti Ertiga will be put on sale
Soon after Maruti opened official bookings for the 2022 Ertiga, details about the updated MPV’s variants and colour options have surfaced online.
Maruti will sell the petrol and 5-speed manual version of the 2022 Ertiga in LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ variants for private car buyers and in Tour M form for fleet customers.
The petrol and 6-speed automatic version of the MPV will come in VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ forms, while the CNG model will be offered in VXI, ZXI and in Tour M grades, all with the 5-speed manual transmission.
Apart from information about the 2022 Maruti Ertiga variants, details about the number of colours the car will be offered with is also out of the bag, which will not make the brand happy.
Customers will have the option of choosing from 7 paint options and they are – Auburn Red, Magma Grey, Midnight Black, Pearl Metallic Arctic White, Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Prime Oxford Blue and Splendid Silver.
Expected to be launched soon, the 2022 Ertiga will feature mild design updates, a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment touchscreen, several more features and a brand-new engine.
Maruti has decided to fit in the engine bay of the car a 1.5-litre Dual Jet K-series engine which will be more powerful at 115 HP and fuel efficient than the outgoing K15B motor which powers a number of the firm’s cars.
