The interior image of the recently spied 2022 Maruti Baleno shows that the car will come with a larger touchscreen
The interior of the 2022 Maruti Baleno has been spied a mere 2 days after MotorBeam brought you the first testing images of the facelifted premium hatchback.
Like the exterior of the vehicle, its interior is set to be revised by quite a bit too. The 2022 Baleno gets a redesigned dash, borrows the steering wheel from the Swift and continues to have an old school semi-digital instrument cluster.
Maruti is expected to offer a full digital display for the instruments, but we cannot be sure of that for now. However, what is clear-cut is the fact that the 2022 Baleno will come with a larger touchscreen than the 2021 model.
The refreshed car’s infotainment system will be upgraded and will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, among various other features.
In addition, the recently spied 2022 Maruti Baleno interior reveals the fact that the central air vents have been repositioned. Now, they sit under the touchscreen, rather than to its sides, and the climate control switches are different too.
Externally, the 2022 Baleno will come with new lighting units, dual arrow-shaped DRLs, reprofiled bumpers and a different (and larger) radiator grille. Of course, the alloy wheels will take a new form with the makeover.
No changes are expected to be made to the car mechanically though. It should continue to come with a 1.2-litre petrol engine which will also be available in mild-hybrid-assisted form.
Expect to see the refreshed Baleno hit showrooms in 2022 and soon after, the Toyota Glanza should also be introduced with the updated look.
