2022 Maruti Baleno to come with trendy new features
2022 Maruti Baleno bookings have commenced while the carmaker has teased a couple of new features as well. Most of these features will be seen for the first time in a Maruti while some of these are first-in-segment too.
We recently saw the HUD teaser but today Maruti has revealed the new 9-inch HD touchscreen SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system. The larger display will offer better resolution and more features including the new Surround Sense system powered by ARKAMYS.
The new infotainment will also offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The carmaker will equip the new Baleno with Suzuki Connect connected car tech with more functions.
Until now it was the Hyundai i20 that was loaded to the brim in this segment in terms of features but now Maruti is pushing the envelope to stuff a lot more features than you could expect in a Maruti.
Apart from the HUD and the new infotainment, the Baleno is expected to come with wireless charging, Alexa voice commands, 360 degree camera, etc.
The hatchback will continue with the same engine options and variant lineup – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. It is expected to launch on 17th February.
