These are the production spec images of the 2022 KTM RC 390 and other RC models
Here are exclusive images of the 2022 model year KTM RC 390, RC 200 and RC 125 which come with all-new styling.
These images come courtesy of MotorBeamer Yadu Kanakkaparambil and reveal everything there is to know (design-wise) about the upcoming supersport machines.
2022 KTM RC 390 –
While many, including us, were skeptical about KTM’s decision to integrate the regular Duke 390’s headlight into the RC 390’s fairing (to be fair the front portion of the test mules did not look that great), the Austrian firm has done a decent job.
In between the LED headlight and the indicators is a black area that comes with carbon-fibre effect, while a larger flyscreen and new mirrors are also present.
The fairing (with new grooves and openings) is new, as are the mudguards, wheels and graphics. There is also a new, larger fuel tank and the split seats are different too.
2022 KTM RC 200 –
While the KTM RC 390 images only show the model in a single colour, the RC 200 has 2 shades – Orange with Black highlights and White with Orange.
Although the design is exactly the same as the new generation RC 390, the headlamp has been taken from the Duke 200, while the instrument display is from the 250 Adventure.
Also, unlike the new RC 390, the RC 200 comes with an underbelly exhaust. Apart from the different engine, it should come with fewer electronics.
2022 KTM RC 125 –
The smallest supersport model in KTM’s lineup, the RC 125, also gets the same styling upgrade as the other models. it is offered in White with Orange and Black with Orange paint options.
It must be said that the latter paint scheme looks killer and like the new RC 390, the smallest RC bike also gets a side-exist exhaust canister. However, the small engine does look lost in the updated fairing.
Expect KTM to soon roll-out all 3 RC models and it is a given that the motorcycles will cost more than their predecessors. One can only hope that KTM will not go too premium with the pricing.
