Kia India has even revised the suspension of the Seltos for 2022
The model year 2022 (MY22) Seltos is set to be updated by Kia India rather soon and the list of changes the compact SUV will come with has been leaked online already.
Soon, the crossover will get 2 new exterior colour options and they are – Imperial Blue and Sparkling Silver and it will also come with ornament type 16-inch wheel cover.
The South Korean carmaker has also redesigned the IRVM of the car which now houses the Kia Connect button, while the compact SUV will also get TPMS, traction/drive mode and, paddle shifters.
Kia will equip the X Line with Indigo Pera seats and this top-of-the-line model of the Seltos variant line-up will also have the model-specific logo on them.
Furthermore, the iMT will be introduced in 1.5-litre CRDi VGT engine option, while the 6-speed automatic for the same engine will be offered for a limited but unspecified period of time.
Chiefly, Kia claims to have improved the suspension of the 2022 Seltos as well, thereby responding directly to customer requests which bodes well for the firm.
Safety-wise, the 2022 Kia Seltos will come with all-wheel disc brakes, side airbags as standard, curtain airbags from HTX+ grade onward, ESC, VSM, HAC and BA.
These changes are set to be made to the current Seltos, while the facelifted model of the compact SUV that is under development will arrive later in the year with restyled bodywork.
