The asking price of the 2021 Kia Carnival rises till Rs. 33.99 lakhs (ex-showroom)
The model year 2021 (MY21) Kia Carnival has been launched with a starting price of Rs. 24.95 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the entry-level Premium grade (7-seat), today.
Featuring Kia India’s new logo, the refreshed MY21 Carnival, which can be had in 7-, 8- and 9-seater configurations, now comes in Premium, Prestige, Limousine and Limousine Plus (new) variants.
Kia says Limousine variant now comes equipped with premium leatherette seats with leg support for second row occupants, 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with UVO support and OTA map updates, 10.1-inch screen at the rear and electrochromatic IRVM, in addition to the features offered in the Prestige trim.
The top-of-the-line and new Limousine Plus grade has 10-way power driver seat with ventilation, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, dual 10.1-inch screens at the back, 8-speaker sound system, electronic parking brake, cabin wood garnish, and TPMS.
As standard, the car has features such as tri-zone automatic temperature control, power sliding doors, auto headlamps, 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 4 speakers, rear-view camera, cruise control, among others.
But the changes do not end there either. From now on, all variants of the Carnival will come with 18-inch alloy wheels, while leatherette seats are offered in Prestige, Limousine and Limousine Plus grades. The VIP seats in the top variant also feature diamond quilting.
A 2.2-litre diesel engine making 200 PS and 440 Nm powers the premium MPV and it comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission
