The 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift for South America is very similar to the Russia-spec model
Hyundai has revealed the 2022 Creta facelift in South America with mild styling changes and a new interior upholstery.
When compared to the current India-spec Creta, the South American version gets a restyled radiator grille and a new front bumper with a modified air dam.
The headlights have not been touched, but the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift gets mildly updated tail lamps and a restyled tailgate.
There is also a new rear skid plate and 18-inch alloy wheels. The whole car, apart from the front grille and wheels, looks just like the model which was revealed in June for the Russian market.
Unlike the exterior, the interior of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift comes with a single change and it has to do with the leather upholstery (top-spec variant) which now comes in brown and beige shade.
The compact SUV is filled to the brim with features. The Brazil version (the old model is still on sale in the market) is equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen, adaptive LED headlights, sunroof, Bluelink, panoramic sunroof, drive modes, and advanced driver assistance systems.
In Brazil, the new generation Creta is offered in a total of 4 variants – Comfort, Limited, Platinum and Ultimate – and gets 2 flex fuel powertrains – a 1.0-litre turbo motor and a 2.0-litre engine (top-spec model only).
This version of the Creta will not come to India since the Korean firm is working on providing the Indian model with a face akin to the new generation Tucson.
