For 2022, the Honda CB500X will come with a price tag that is over Rs. 1 lakh less than earlier
The asking price of the Honda CB500X for 2022 has been reduced by a massive amount and the bike now costs Rs. 5.81 lakhs (ex-showroom, Gurugram).
First introduced in India in March 2021, the adventure-oriented twin cylinder motorcycle came with a sticker price of Rs. 6.87 lakhs (ex-showroom, Gurugram).
Thus, the motorcycle is over Rs. 1.06 lakh cheaper now than it was last year, which not only bucks the trend, but also comes as a rather pleasant surprise.
Apart from the price, which some might deem as very premium still, no other changes have been made to the motorcycle that continues to be offered with Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic colour options.
It is equipped with full LED lights, an LCD dash, dual channel ABS, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) tech and the Honda Ignition Security System (HISS).
Power comes from a 471cc parallel-twin unit delivering 47.2 BHP and 43.2 Nm. Teamed to the motor is a 6-speed gearbox with assist/slipper clutch. The bike weighs 199 kg (wet) and can hold near enough 18 litres of petrol.
Being a vehicle that is conceived to do adventure touring, the CB500X comes with a pre-load adjustable rear monoshock, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and 181 mm of road clearance.
Brought to India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kit, the CB500X is retailed through Honda’s premium big bike dealerships situated across in India.
