The asking price of the 2022 Hero Electric Optima CX has been revealed
Hero Electric has introduced the 2022 Optima CX single battery variant at a price of Rs. 62,190/- and the dual battery variant at Rs. 77,490 (prices are ex-showroom, Delhi and inclusive of Fame 2 subsidy).
Both models are available with 3 colour choices – Blue, Grey and White – and look identical with contemporary styling. They feature an LED headlamp, digital dash, USB port, remote lock and anti-theft alarm.
Featuring telescopic suspension and riding on 12-inch alloy wheels (90/90-section rubber), the scooters come with regenerative braking as well as features like reverse mode, walk assist and cruise control.
The Optima CX Single Battery model has a 51.2 V, 30 Ah battery and a 1.2 kW (1.61 BHP) motor with a nominal rating of 550 W (0.737 BHP). The claimed range is 82 km per charge and it takes 4 to 5 hours to completely charge the portable battery pack.
The Optima CX dual battery variant has double the number of batteries, but not double the range as the claimed figure is 140 km per charge. The charging time remains the same though, thanks to Hero Electric providing the scooter with a dual charger setup.
