Harley-Davidson Updates Pan America 1250 For 2022

The top-spec ‘Special’ gets a new colour option for this year

The 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 remains mechanically unchanged

Harley-Davidson has revealed the 2022 Pan America 1250 and the Pan America 1250 Special along with several other motorcycles which have also been refreshed for the New Year.

Launched in the country in April last year, 2 months after its global unveil, the adventure motorcycle was a surprise arrival as it is one thing people did not expect the American brand to pull off.

In 2021, the Pan America 1250 Special became the best-selling adventure motorcycle in North America

For 2022, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special models feature extended Vehicle Hill Hold Control active time. From the earlier 10 seconds, the feature will be active for 3 to 5 minutes now.

In addition, Harley says it has improved visibility of information on the 6.8-inch TFT display screen, while the Pan America 1250 Special also gets a new colour option – Fastback Blue/White Sand.

Like any Harley product, it comes with a rather premium price tag

The motorcycle has not received any mechanical changes. It continues to be powered by liquid-cooled 1252cc V-twin pushing out 150 HP (arrives 250 RPM sooner at 8750 RPM) and 128 Nm. The motor is teamed to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

All the electronic features like the 5 ride modes, cruise control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, among others still remain, but what is likely to change is the asking price. When it was introduced here, the bike cost between Rs. 16.90 lakhs and Rs. 19.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
