For 2022, Ford will reveal a brand-new Endeavour
The global reveal of the 2022 Endeavour will happen on 1st March, Ford has announced today through a teaser video showcasing the production-ready SUV.
The upcoming Ranger-based 3-row vehicle gets completely new styling when compared with its predecessor that was on sale in India until last year.
In the teaser video, the 2022 Endeavour is painted black and has a completely new radiator grille with a thick central strut holding the manufacturer’s emblem.
The grille also has chrome embellishments and is flanked by new LED headlights with C-shaped DRLs. The car also comes with silver-coloured front skid plate.
Along the sides, the new generation Endeavour, known as Everest overseas, will have roof rails, large window area, side steps, large wheels and would you look at the amount of wheel travel on offer!
While the rear portion of the SUV is not shown in the teaser video, what is displayed is the panoramic sunroof of the new Endeavour. The car will also get a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, rotary gear selector and tonnes of new age features.
Globally, the new Endeavour is expected to be offered with a 2.3-litre turbo-petrol motor along with 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre turbodiesels. A plug-in hybrid model will also be put on sale and all models will come with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Four-wheel drive will be offered as well, however, the full specifications sheet will be disclosed only when the 2022 Ford Endeavour reveal officially takes place in less than 2 weeks from now.
The 3-row SUV will be retailed by Ford in markets such as Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, and of course India, where it will be brought in as a completely built-up unit (CBU).
