Since the 2022 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS bookings have commenced, their launch should happen soon
BMW Motorrad has begun accepting bookings for the 2022 G 310 R and G 310 GS motorcycles in India.
For model year 2022 (MY22), the G 310 R will come in 2 new colour schemes – Style Passion and Cosmic Black 2. The 2022 G 310 GS, on the other hand, will be available in a new Style Triple Black colourway.
The German brand has not made any design changes to the motorcycles for MY22 and it has not touched their mechanical parts either.

Both machines come powered by a 313cc water-cooled engine that makes a maximum of 34 PS at 9250 RPM an 28 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that has an anti-hopping clutch.
They also feature full LED lighting units, adjustable hand levers, ride-by-wire, and ABS. The G 310 GS, also comes with a luggage carrier.
While both have a 143 km/hr top speed, they do differ quite a bit in certain aspects. For example, the naked weighs 164 kg, while the adventure more comes in at 175 kg.
The G 310 GS also has a longer wheelbase, more wheel travel and a taller seat height. But, the wheels and fuel tank remain the same for both motorcycles.

Since the 2022 BMW G 310 R bookings and the G 310 GS bookings have commenced, the bikes should be introduced soon in the market.
They might cost the same as the 2021 models (G 310 R – Rs. 2.60 lakhs, G 310 GS – Rs. 3 lakhs, ex-showroom) if not more.
