Audi has released teaser images of the 2022 Q7 showing its new grille, LED headlight, panoramic sunroof and interior
Audi India has released teaser images of the 2022 Q7 luxury SUV that is set to be introduced into the market this month.
The German brand announced in December 2021 that it has begun assembling the refreshed Q7 at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Dealership dispatches of the car which will be sold in only 2 grades – Premium Plus and Technology – have already commenced; and like any premium product, it will be packed to the rafters with goodies.
Featuring a revised radiator grille flanked by Matrix LED headlamps, a new bumper and LED stop lights that have also been tweaked, the 2022 Q7 also gets new wheels and enough chrome trim on the exterior.
Stepping inside, one would see a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless device charger, 4-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.
Several other features including a powered tailgate, adaptive air suspension and a whole host of safety features will be present in the luxury SUV.
Although the 2022 Audi Q7 teaser images do not let this out, the brand is expected to sell the SUV only with a turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol motor with mild-hybrid assistance.
The power unit should produce 335 BHP and 500 Nm of torque and will be teamed to a 8-speed automatic transmission that will in turn be paired to the car’s all-wheel drive system.
