2021 Yamaha Bolt Revealed In R Spec ABS Form
To be sold only in Japan, it comes powered by a big air-cooled V-twin engine putting out 54 PS of max power.
Yamaha has revealed the 2021 model year Bolt V-twin cruiser which is available exclusively for the Japanese market.
Now available in a single R Spec ABS variant, the motorcycle can be had in only 2 colour options, either in Grayish Metallic Blue or in Black Metallic.
Featuring a 941cc air-cooled V-twin heart that pumps out a maximum of 54 PS at 5500 RPM and 80 Nm of peak torque at 3000 RPM, the 2021 Yamaha Bolt weighs a rather portly 252 kg. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox and features a final belt drive.
However, the bike does have oodles of style quotient in its favour. People who love cruisers will definitely dig the motorcycle’s simple design which is dominated by the large engine.
Its lighting units are all circular in shape and so is the instrument gauge. The teardrop-shaped fuel tank (13-litre capacity) and the design of the split seats indicate that Yamaha wanted to give the bike a Bobber look.
This being the R Spec ABS model, brushed metal alloy wheels (19-inch front and 16-inch rear) are offered as standard, while the suspension units are 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin shocks at the rear with gold-coloured reservoirs. The stopping power is offered by 298 mm petal discs front and rear.
In Japan the 2021 Yamaha Bolt R Spec ABS has a retail price of ¥ 1,045,000 which is equivalent to Rs. 7.14 lakhs in Indian money and nope, Yamaha has no intention of selling the cruiser bike anywhere outside Japan for now.
