The asking price of the standard 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler is Rs. 60,000/- less expensive than the Sandstorm Edition
Triumph has introduced the 2021 Street Scrambler in India with a price tag of Rs. 9.35 lakhs (ex-showroom), today.
Revealed in April along with the 2021 Street Scrambler Sandstorm edition (which was launched here in May), the scrambler motorcycle is ready to tackle rough roads from the get-go.
Triumph hardly makes bad-looking motorcycles and its current Bonneville range does not have a minger. The 2021 Street Scrambler has a very minimalist styling and thus, there is nothing to go wrong with it.
Featuring wire-spoked wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear) with tyres suited for trails, the motorcycle has a round headlight, wide aluminium handlebar, a shapely fuel tank, split seat and high-set twin exhausts.
It also comes with an aluminium number board with embossed Street Scrambler logo on the side panel, several components sporting brushed aluminium finish, ‘bear trap’ adventure style foot pegs, front forks with gaiters and twin rear shocks.
Offered with Jet Black, Matt Khaki and Matt Ironstone, and Urban Grey colour options, the motorcycle has features such as 3 riding modes (Rain, Road and Off-Road) and switchable ABS and traction control.
Power comes from a 900cc parallel twin engine that puts out 65 PS at 7250 RPM and 80 Nm of torque at 3250 RPM. The motor is teamed to a 5-speed gearbox and also has a torque-assist clutch.
