The Toyota Innova Crysta facelift that is expected to be launched here in 2021 has been spied undisguised in Indonesia.
Caught sitting near the current model, the changes made to the MPV are clear as day and the most striking element is of course the new radiator grille.
Instead of the thick dual chrome slats on the pre-facelift car, the revised version gets a smaller grille with five slats in black with the outer part of the grille sporting chrome trim that also connects the head lamps.
Fog lights and DRLs have been positioned differently and the lower part of the bumper has been resigned as well.
There are no changes made at the sides but the wheels are new and have a dual-tone finish to them. Similarly, the rear has been largely untouched, except for the tail lights that seem to have different detailing.
Inside, the dashboard looks to be the same, while the upholstery colour has changed. Also, along with the facelift, Toyota is likely to introduce an updated infotainment system and additional equipment to bring it up to date.
The 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift spied car looks to be production ready and word is that dealer dispatches have commenced in Indonesia where it will first go on sale.
India launch of the facelifted MPV will take place by next year. While engine options are expected to remain the same, if additional equipment is offered, the car’s price will go up by a small margin.
