2021 Tata Tigor EV Facelift Spied On Test

The 2021 model year Tata Tigor EV facelift has been spied on test recently sporting updated lighting elements, new alloy wheels and a revised interior.

Two test mules – one nearly undisguised and the other completely disguised – of the Tigor EV facelift were spotted and they look very similar to the ICE Tigor which was launched early last year.

The 2021 Tata Tigor EV facelift spied on test has, in comparison with the pre-facelift model, revised headlights with DRLs, a gloss black grille with chrome applique and a redesigned bumper with different fog lamp housing.

Along the sides, one of the test mules was seen riding on alloy wheels sporting a different design, which could be reserved for the top-spec trim, while at the back, there are LED taillights. The car has model-specific badging and blue-coloured accents throughout.

Inside, the 2021 Tata Tigor EV facelift spied on test had a new steering wheel and digital instrument cluster, while the touchscreen is larger in size. In keeping with the EV theme, some of the interior trim, like the central air vent bezel, are painted blue. Tata might add a bit more features this time around.

No changes are expected to be made to the electrical parts of the car. Thus, it should continue to come with a 21.5 kWh battery pack and an electric motor capable of producing 40.2 HP and 105 Nm of torque.

While the claimed range for the pre-facelift model was 213 km, the facelifted Tigor EV might come with a bit more range. The top speed could stay the same at 80 km/hr and, in a similar fashion, the charging rate might also remain as is.
