After repeated setbacks, Skoda has finally revealed the asking price of the 2021 Octavia
Skoda Auto has launched the 2021 Octavia premium sedan with a starting price tag of Rs. 25.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), in India, today.
Now in its fourth-generation, the Octavia has been given crisp styling, which adds to the premium appeal the nameplate comes with by default.
Sold in ‘Style’ and ‘Laurin & Klement’ variants, the Octavia comes with full LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels (2 different styles), and in a total of 5 colourways.
On the inside, there is a new multi-level dashboard, chrome trim finishers, seats with beige suede leather upholstery (front seats come with 12-way electric adjustment) and leather wrapped steering wheel.
Features including 10-inch infotainment display, digital instrument cluster, wireless device charger, LED ambient lights, electronic parking brake, powered tailgate with ‘Virtual Pedal’, handsfree parking, and many more are on offer as well.
Powering the D-segment sedan is a 2.0-litre TSI engine that makes a maximum of 190 PS and 320 Nm of peak torque. The petrol motor comes mated to a 7-speed DSG.
Like many modern cars, the 2021 Octavia is equipped with a raft of safety equipment such 8 airbags, ABS, ESC, EBD, Parktronic sensors, TPMS, iBuzz Fatigue Alert, among others.
