Royal Enfield has launched the 2021 Interceptor 650 with a starting price tag of Rs. 2,75,467/- (ex-showroom, India), today.
The 2021 model year Continental GT 650 has also been launched with an asking price tag that starts at Rs. 2,91,701/- (ex-showroom, India).
Now, both middleweight motorcycles get 5 new colourways each and they get a whole host of new options under the brand’s Make-it-Yours (MiY) initiative.
The Interceptor 650 is now available in 2 new Standard (single tone) colours such as Canyon Red and Ventura Blue; 2 new Custom (dual tone) shades – Downtown Drag, and Sunset Strip and a new chrome variant in the Mark 2.
Only 2 existing colour options – Orange Crush and Baker Express – have been carried over for 2021, taking the total number of colour options the 2021 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 price can get customers to 7.
One the other hand, the 2021 Continental GT 650 comes in single tone colourways such as Rocker Red and British Racing Green. Two new custom (dual tone) colourways include Dux Deluxe and Ventura Storm, while there is a new variant called Mister Clean.
Aesthetic updates to compliment the new colourways such have also been made. The single tone colour variants of the Interceptor 650 now feature blacked out rims and mudguards.
In addition, the 650cc motorcycles will also be available with a host of new MiY options. The Interceptor 650 gets 2 new seat options (a standard touring dual seat and touring seat with ribbed styled stitching and cowl finish), engine guards and sump guards (in various finishes), touring mirrors, flyscreens, fork gaiters, among others.
The cafe racer receives options such as painted screen kit in black, bar end mirrors, single seat cowl (in various colours), sump and engine guards, among others and all of these accessories on both bikes will come with a 2-year warranty.
Bookings for both motorcycles that have received no mechanical changes have commenced across all Royal Enfield stores in India from today.
