The updated Royal Enfield Himalayan sporting the new (for 2021) Pine Green colour has been spotted a dealership.
Earlier this year, we broke news (read article here) that the only adventure motorcycle offered by the middleweight segment leader will receive a slew of updates, including 3 new colours.
When launched, the refreshed version of the bike will be offered with Granite Black, Mirage Silver and Pine Green (all new shades), along with the existing Gravel Grey, Lake Blue and Rock Red colour options.
The motorcycle spotted at a dealer was painted in the Pine Green shade with new graphics and looks rather lovely. This model does not have the brown seat and it is likely that it might be reserved for the Mirage Silver option alone.
In addition, the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan Pine Green model also sports the revised front rack, taller and tinted flyscreen, as can be seen clearly from the images.
Also on offer on the bike are new seats that reportedly offer more comfort, a redesigned and sturdier luggage carrier at the back, a revised headlight with LED DRL and the brand’s own Tripper Navigation.
Mechanically, the bike will be identical to the 2020 model and thus will be powered by a 411cc motor good for 24.3 BHP and 32 Nm, which will be mated to a 5-speed transmission.
Also, the fact that the bike has been spotted at a dealer yard indicates that the firm has commenced dispatches, meaning we do not have to wait for long for its launch to take place.
However, customers will have to pay more for the updated model and if you are planning to load it up with accessories, expect to pay in the region of Rs. 2.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
