The instrument cluster of the upcoming 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spied ahead of the bike’s official debut.
While the internet is awash with spy pictures of the motorcycle, giving us a clear picture of how it will look like, finding images of its instrument gauges was not that easy.
Now, though, just before the 350cc motorcycle’s launch, the instrument cluster has been captured as images and it sports the latest Tripper navigation assist.
While the pods sit on the same metal plate as before, they are different, that is apart from the key slot that retains its place on the left side of the cluster.
At the centre is the speedometer that has readings in both km/hr and mph. Situated below that is a small digital readout that should provide details such as the fuel level, engine warning, trip meters, odometer, among others.
But, the most important change on the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 instrument cluster is the addition of Tripper navigation, which made its debut on the Meteor 350 and was then added on to the updated Himalayan.
This image also gives us a clear idea of how the headlight casing has been redesigned. But, it does look very similar to the one on the outgoing model.
For those who might remember, the same speedo and digital readout section alone makes for the entire instrument cluster of the upcoming Hunter. Seems like Enfield wants to make best use of the parts it has at hand.
In terms of powertrain, the 2021 Classic 350 should borrow the 349cc motor and 5-speed transmission from the Meteor 350 and the bike will sit on a new chassis, also borrowed from the Meteor.
When it gets launched, the motorcycle will rival the Jawa Forty Two, Benelli Imperiale 400 and the Honda H’ness CB350.
