Jaguar Land Rover has launched the 2021 Range Rover Velar with a starting price tag of Rs. 79.87 lakhs (ex-showroom), today and deliveries of the luxury SUV have begun already.
Available in the R-Dynamic S trim, the car is offered with both petrol and diesel Ingenium engines, each having 4 cylinders and displacing 2000cc.
The 2.0-litre petrol engine delivers 250 PS maximum power and 365 Nm of peak torque, while the 2.0-litre diesel engine is good for 204 PS and 430 Nm.
Both come mated to an automatic gearbox which transfers the engine’s power to all 4 wheels. The petrol variant has a top speed of 217 km/hr, while the diesel is 7 km/hr slower, which is due to it weighing 1928 kg, 53 kg more than the petrol counterpart.
The Velar, for 2021, comes with tonnes of features including the latest Pivi Pro infotainment touchscreen, leather steering wheel, perforated grained leather seats, 14-way driver memory front seats with rear power recline, powered tailgate, 3D surround camera, panoramic roof, and more.
On the outside, the 2021 Range Rover Velar price gets LED headlights with signature DRLs, heated, electric, power fold door mirrors with approach lights and auto-dimming driver side and 7-spoke 20-inch wheels in Gloss Sparkle Silver colour.
Speaking of colourways, the luxury SUV is offered in Fuji White, Portofino Blue, Santorini Black and Silicon Silver shades, while the roof comes in a contrast black colour.
