The 2021 Range Rover Sport has been revealed and the SUV gets new special editions to further spoil customers.
Touted as Land Rover’s most dynamic model, the SUV can now be had in HSE Silver, HSE Dynamic Black and SVR Carbon Editions along with the existing line-up.
The HSE Silver edition builds on the HSE variant and gets “Shadow Atlas” exterior trim finish, privacy glass and 21-inch gloss black and contrast diamond-turned alloy wheels as standard
It is also available with seven exterior colour options, two interior choices, a panoramic roof, centre console cooler compartment and Meridian surround sound system.
The new HSE Dynamic Black is based on the HSE Dynamic and features an exterior black pack that is complemented with 21-inch gloss black alloy wheels, privacy glass and an all-black interior.
Finished in Santorini Black or Carpathian Grey with contrast roof, the HSE Dynamic Black / HSE Dynamic Stealth edition also gets a fixed panoramic roof, ebony headlining and Meridian Surround sound system as standard.
High-performance lovers can choose the 575 PS SVR Carbon Edition that comes with exposed carbon fibre bonnet centre section, front bumper insert surrounds, main grille and vent surrounds, carbon fibre interior trim finishers, SVR Carbon Edition treadplates, carbon fibre engine cover and 22-inch gloss black alloy wheels.
The 2021 Range Rover Sport gains new straight-six Ingenium diesel engine with mild-hybrid tech with three power outputs, with a maximum of 350 PS. The new engine replaces V6 and V8 diesels.
The 350 PS D350 diesel that puts out 700 Nm can power the luxury performance SUV from 0-100 km/hr in 6.5 seconds.
Four-wheel drive and air suspension are standard on the car that is made using aluminium to keep weight in check.
Enhancements to connectivity and security are also available on the 2021 Range Rover Sport. Now, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across all models, while up to eight 4G Wi-Fi connections can be made.
There is a new embedded Spotify app that can be accessed through Touch Pro Duo system. For added security, 12-month subscriptions to Secure Tracker and Secure Tracker Pro are standard-fit.
Land Rover will introduce three engine options with the updated model in India – 2.0-litre petrol (P300), new 3.0-litre MHEV diesel (D300) and 5.0-litre supercharged petrol (575 PS). It will be available in S, SE, HSE, HSE Dynamic, Autobiography Dynamic and SVR variants.
