2021 Range Rover & Range Rover Sport Launched, Priced From Rs. 88.24 Lakhs

Range Rover Sport is powered by 2.0-litre petrol and 3.0-litre mild hybrid diesel engines

The 2021 Range Rover Sport has been launched with a starting price tag of Rs. 88.24 lakhs in India, while the big daddy Range Rover has been launched as well, with prices starting from Rs. 1.97 crores (all prices, ex-showroom).

Let us look at both models in detail now, shall we?

What has the Sport got?

Available in a single body style, the Range Rover Sport comes powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol and a new 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel.

While the petrol engine puts out 300 HP and 400 Nm and can propel the SUV to a 201 km/hr top speed. The diesel on the other hand is a 48 V mild hybrid that makes 300 HP and 650 Nm.

2021 Range Rover Sport price ranges from Rs. 88.24 lakhs to Rs. 1.01 crores for the petrol versions of which there are three and from Rs. 1.08 crores to 1.50 crores for the diesel versions of which there are seven (all prices ex-showroom).

On the other hand

Range Rover can be had in standard and long-wheelbase forms and is powered by 3.0-litre 6-cylinder Ingenium petrol and a similar capacity diesel with mild hybrid tech.

Power produced by the Ingenium petrol is 400 HP and 550 Nm and that is enough to take the car to a top speed of 225 km/hr and do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 6.3 seconds.

Priced from Rs. 1.97 crores, both the petrol and diesel variants have eight trims each and top out at Rs. 4.09 crores for the LWB SVAutobiography trim.
