2021 Mahindra XUV500 Digital Instrument Cluster Spied Once Again

The light-coloured interior looks premium

Another day and another spy shot of the 2021 Mahindra XUV500 digital cluster has come to the fore. This recent test mule was spotted in Kandivali, Mumbai by MotorBeamer Niket Thakkar who went on to snap a few images of the vehicle.

Housed behind the new multifunction steering wheel, the Mahindra XUV500 digital cluster has the speedometer on the left-hand side and the tachometer on the right, at the centre of which sits the large gear indicator.

Atop the dashboard, the central touchscreen can also be seen. While both the 2021 Mahindra XUV500 digital cluster and touchscreen sit on the same housing, there is some gap between the two. I wonder what will take its place there. A clock maybe?

As can be seen from the interior image, the dashboard is dual tone and the central air vents feature chrome surround and so do the switchgear on the steering wheel.

This particular test mule features a manual handbrake lever, beige upholstery and also has a fairly large-looking front armrest.

Other things that can be noted from the interior image include the brightness provided by the reading lamps at the front (which seems more than adequate enough), new door handle and the door lever.

On the outside, the test mule looks just like other vehicles of that ilk (click here to read more) and rides on alloy wheels. Judging by the way the door handles are operated, it is clear that Mahindra will offer indents for one’s fingers to grip the handle from the underside while pulling it.

Mahindra has been testing the SUV for quite some time now and before long it should put it on sale to rival cars such as the 2021 Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the like.

So many test mules of the new-generation XUV500 have been spotted all over the country till now
It should do well on the safety front as well, judging by the recent performances of Mahindra cars
