The new generation 2021 Mahindra Thar is finally revealed after a prolonged wait. We have been seeing so many test mules in the past few years and the car is now out in flesh.
Launch is scheduled for 2nd October when the price will be revealed. It will be offered in AX (adventure) and LX (lifestyle) variants.
Design
- It will be available in Hard Top, Convertible Top and Soft Top options
- The new model is longer and wider than its predecessor

- BS6 compliant mStallion 150 turbo petrol 2.0-litre engine producing 150 HP at 5000 RPM and 320 Nm torque at 1500-3000 RPM
- BS6 compliant mHawk 130 turbo diesel 2.2-litre engine producing 130 HP at 3750 RPM and 300 Nm torque at 1600-2800 RPM
- Both engines will be available 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options
