2021 Mahindra Thar Gets Some Rather Tasteful Mods
It features a new grille, new LED headlights, light bars among many other additional equipment.
There are many modified examples of the 2021 Mahindra Thar out there and joining the list is another model that comes with a face that reminds one of the Jeep Wrangler.
Sporting a new front radiator grille that is eerily similar to the one on the Jeep Wrangler, the vehicle also has a new bumper (made from steel) that houses tow hooks and fog lights.
However, there is a safety issue with the usage of a steel bumper that should be eliminated once a similar-looking one made out of Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) is fitted, for it will be compatible with the airbag sensors.
While the additional light bars will grab immediate attention, the headlights too have been replaced by LED units. In addition, there are functional skid plates, side steps, rear tow hooks and rugged tyres as well.
Inside, there is a CB radio for communication, while armrests have been added front and rear and in addition there are cupholders and even a power socket at the back.
The parts seen on this particular model have been created by off-road car specialists at Bimbra 4×4 and the vehicle is their test bed for creating such parts.
