The French have been exclusively treated to a 2021 KTM Duke 890 Tech3 MotoGP Replica Edition of which only 100 units will ever be produced.
Based on the 2021 model year Duke 890, the limited edition model sports a stunning paint job reminiscent of the current Tech3 KTM Factory Racing bikes.
It also gets a belly pan, a pillion seat cover like the one seen on the 890 Duke R and an Akrapovic exhaust system.
Surprisingly, the 2021 KTM Duke 890 Tech3 bikes do not come with the 121 HP rating like the 890 Duke R. Instead, the 889cc LC8 parallel twin has been taken unchanged from the Duke 890 and it makes 115 HP and 92 Nm of torque.
Of course, the bike comes with all the trick electronic stuff the 2021 Duke 890 has, including riding modes such as ‘Rain’, ‘Street’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Track’ (which is optional).
Despite it being an ultra-rare machine, KTM is not asking crazy money for the limited edition model. Costing 1300 Euros (Rs. 1.17 lakh) more, the MotoGP replica edition is priced at 11,690 Euros (Rs. 10.55 lakhs) in France.
The reason for KTM to introduce the limited edition model only in France pertains to the country being the home base of Tech3 KTM Factory Racing.
