2021 Kawasaki Z H2 & Z H2 SE Launched, Priced From Rs. 21.90 Lakhs

The Z H2 comes with premium hardware throughout

Kawasaki has launched the 2021 Z H2 in India with a price tag of Rs. 21.90 lakhs and the Z H2 SE at Rs. 25.90 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom).

The flagship Z series supercharged motorcycles both come in Metallic Diablo Black and Golden Blazed Green colour scheme and look as angry as ever.

The asymmetric ram air intake, exposed steel trellis frame, flat-type handlebar, are all present and correct, while the design is minimalist.

Sporting the “Kawasaki River Mark” logo on the headlamp cowl, the bikes come with all-LED lighting, TFT instrument display, smartphone connectivity, cruise control, among other features.

Of course, none of these are exceptional in comparison to the engine, which is a supercharged 998cc in-line 4 unit which puts out 200 PS peak power at 11,000 RPM and 137 Nm of max torque at 8500 RPM.

It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch and a quickshifter to make riding the 239 kg (Z H2, while Z H2 SE is 1 kg heavier) bike a breeze.

Braking hardware is equally impressive with dual 320 mm upfront and a single 260 mm disc at the back, while ABS and the electronics package further add to rider safety.

Three riding modes (Rain, Road and Sport), power modes (Low, Middle and Full) are also available on the motorcycles.

While the 2021 Kawasaki ZH2 price will get adjustable Showa forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear, the Z H2 SE comes with adjustable Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS) with Showa’s Skyhook technology.

However, both bikes wear same-sized rubber (120-section at the front and 190 section at the rear) wrapped around 17-inch wheels and because they are extremely thirsty, Kawasaki has given them a 19-litre fuel tank.
