2021 Jeep Compass interior has been spotted while the car was doing test runs in our country and the big news is that it will get a larger touchscreen.
Only one spy shot has been taken of the 2021 Jeep Compass interior and we can clearly see the changes, although most of the dashboard has been covered.
The first thing that captures one’s attention is the larger infotainment screen. We suspect that the Compass facelift will feature UConnect5 infotainment system, the latest from FCA.
Unveiled at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show, the system gets different touchscreen sizes ranging from 10.1-inch to 12.3-inch (in portrait orientation).
The one seen here might have the 10.1-inch screen as opposed to the current model’s 8.4-inch system, with the control switches are situated below it.
Features of the UConnect5 infotainment system that can receive Over-The-Air (OTA) updates include, Amazon Alexa support, wireless AppleCarPlay and Android Auto.
Other changes seen in the 2021 Jeep Compass interior are repositioned climate control buttons and a revised centre console. We expect it to come with soft touch material as well.
The 2021 Jeep Compass will also get a new steering wheel, with top variants also featuring a digital instrument cluster, but that is not seen in the image.
Jeep Compass will also come with exterior changes, something not seen in the recently updated car for the US market.
Changes will be to the bumpers, front and rear, a redesigned grille, while headlamps and tail lights might also get updated.
Engine line-up of the Compass will remain the same and the car is expected to be launched here in 2021.
