2021 Jeep Compass Facelift Sporting New Green Shade Spied Ahead Of Launch

Looks like green is making a comeback

The Jeep Compass facelift has been spotted, sporting a new green shade, ahead of its launch next week.

Seen in South Mumbai recently, the SUV is painted in the same shade as the model in the teaser image shown on its official website. The colour is not dissimilar to the one offered on Tata’s Harrier Camo edition.

Apart from the paint option, the facelifted Compass also has the new LED headlights, revised grille, fog lamps and bumper upfront.

While the Compass facelift is expected to be launched with a new set of alloys, the car spotted on public roads runs on the same wheels as the current model.

A clear look of the new dashboard is also provided by the spy images. There is a new steering wheel, revised air-con controls, tan leather-like material covering the dash along with brushed aluminium-esque trim.

But the large 10.1-inch floating touchscreen with FCA’s UConnect 5 infotainment system takes centre stage, giving the cabin a much more premium look.

Set to get launched officially on 7th January 2021, after which deliveries will commence, the SUV will be offered with 1.4-litre turbo petrol (160 HP and 250 Nm) and 2.0-litre turbo diesel (170 HP and 350 Nm) engine options.

Transmission choices, on the other hand, will be a 6-speed manual for both engines, while the petrol motor can also be had with a 7-speed DCT and the diesel engine with a 9-speed torque converter.
