Suspension-wise, the car has double wishbones at the front and new 5-link rear unit that, Isuzu claims, has improved stability and ride comfort. Also, drive modes – normal and rough terrain – are available on the 4×4 model.
Safety features that come with the new MU-X include six airbags, several advanced driver assistance systems which make use of dual front cameras, 3D imaging stereo camera with two radar and eight sensors around the car, among others.
