2021 Isuzu MU-X Launched, Priced From Rs. 33.23 Lakhs

Isuzu Motors India has launched the BS6-compliant 2021 MU-X with a price tag that starts from Rs. 33.23 lakhs (ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu).

First up, the engine, which is now a 1.9-litre diesel unit that delivers a maximum of 163 PS and 360 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a new 6-speed automatic transmission.

Available in both 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive variants, the latter sports a shift-on-the-fly 4×4 system for better off-roading capability, the 7-seat MU-X looks the same as before.

The same eagle-inspired exterior design continues to be present, while the SUV also comes with Bi-LED projector headlights with auto-levelling, LED rear position lamps, fog lamps with chrome garnish, double slat chrome radiator grille, aluminium side steps and roof rails.

It rides on 255/60-R18 tyres and comes with colour options such as Nautilus Blue (new), Red Spinal Mica, Silky White Pearl, Galena Grey, Black Mica and Silver Metallic.

Inside, the same twin-cockpit layout remains. There are soft touch panels on the dash, leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, piano black interior trim along with chrome finish and silver finish trim pieces.

There are plentiful features on offer as well, including a 6-way power adjustable driver seat, 7-inch touchscreen, 8-speaker sound system, instrument cluster with chrome rings and MID, to name a few.

When it comes to safety systems, the SUV comes equipped with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, EBA, ESC, TCS, HDC, and many others.
