New Hyundai Santa Fe comes with a bunch of updates for the global market.
2021 Hyundai Santa Fe revealed, it’s neither a new generation car nor a facelift. Confused? Hyundai has revised the platform for better safety, handling and performance.
The underpinnings are tweaked to accommodate electrified powertrains as well. The current generation Santa Fe made its debut in 2018 and within no time Hyundai released a massive new update.
The styling looks fresh with a huge grille up front. It is wider and much bigger. The headlights have a unique LED DRL positioning that starts from the top and merges below with a Thor-like design.
The side profile reveals a bold look of the Santa Fe. The alloy wheel design is interesting with a rugged yet premium appeal. The rear profile looks clean and upmarket with sleek LED lights.
The interior is revised too offering more space, comfort and convenience features. The most apparent change is the new 12.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There’s a new 12.3-inch instrument cluster as well.
Hyundai to offer new exterior colour options along with new interior colour combinations. Moreover, new soft touch materials are used on the dash. The centre console is new with more storage space.
There is a new Terrain Mode Selector. It includes – sand, snow and mud, eco, comfort, sport and smart modes. It automatically detects the terrain as well and accordingly adjusts the parameters.
No engine details revealed yet. However, new Santa Fe will go on sale in Europe by September. India launch is not expected in the near future. Hyundai is considering to launch Palisade though for India.
