The price difference between the manual and DCT variants of the 2021 Honda Goldwing Tour is Rs. 1.96 lakhs.
Honda has introduced the 2021 Goldwing Tour in India with a starting price tag of Rs. 37.20 lakhs (ex-showroom, Gurugram), today.
Brought to India as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model from Japan, the tourer is available in 2 variants – a manual transmission and Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) with airbag.
Unveiled In January this year, the 2021 model year Goldwing Tour is equipped with all-LED lighting including dual LED fog lights, auto-cancel indicators, an extended electric flyscreen and new suede/synthetic leather seat covers.
The motorcycle’s cockpit is rather unique. There are 2 dials that flank a 7-inch TFT display which gives access to audio, navigation, riding modes and suspension controls.
What’s more, the 2021 Honda Goldwing Tour also has a Smart Key, cruise control, TPMS, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, 2 USB Type-C ports and 121 litres of luggage capacity.
Sporting an aluminium twin-beam frame and a ‘Pro-Arm’ swingarm, the motorcycle has double wishbone front suspension and ‘Pro-Link’ rear suspension (both come with electric adjustability)
Power comes from a 1833cc liquid-cooled flat-6 engine that is good for 125 HP and 170 Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed DCT (with creep forward and back function).
Thanks to Throttle By Wire (TBW) system, there are 4 modes – Tour, Sport, Econ and Rain – for the rider to choose from and in addition, the bike has an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and idling stop system on the DCT variant.
In terms of safety, Honda has equipped the 2021 Goldwing Tour with Dual Combined Brake System (D-CBS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
