2021 Force Gurkha Starts Arriving At Dealerships, Launch Soon

The off-road-focused car has started to hit dealerships ahead of its launch

The 2021 Force Gurkha has started arriving at dealerships, indicating that the launch of the off-road oriented SUV is close by.

Force Motors revealed the completely revised 2021 Gurkha at the 2020 Auto Expo with several changes to the exterior and a completely overhauled interior.

Front bumpers and bonnet receive changes to meet new safety norms, the headlights now have LEDs incorporated in them, while the tail lamps are also new. A newer set of alloys and a new orange paint shade complete the outside changes.

Inside, the cabin has now become more contemporary with a new design to the dashboard, at the centre of which sits a touchscreen. In all, six people can be seated in the 2021 Force Gurkha. The middle-row has two front facing seats but, mind you, the ones behind them are jump seats.

Engine-wise, a sole 90 BHP 2.6-litre turbo diesel engine will continue to do duty on the SUV. The motor is now BS6-compliant and like before, it is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. More specs will be revealed closer to the launch.

Being a vehicle that is made to go off-road, the 2021 Force Gurkha gets body-on-frame construction and in addition, it has a snorkel, coil spring suspension, front and rear diff lock and for added practicality, a load carrier.

2021 Force Gurkha launch will also see the car come with new accessories. Expect more updates on the car as its launch nears.
