Ducati has updated the Streetfighter V4 to meet Euro 5 emissions target and has also added a new Dark Stealth colour scheme for the V4 S model.
The famous bike manufacturer has made these changes on the bike as part of the 2021 model year updates.
This means the super naked motorcycle can be launched in India, for it will meet our BS6 emissions regulations as well and we expect Ducati to waste no time in bringing the bike to our country.
To ensure that the bike is no more polluting than authorities deem fit, Ducati has used larger catalysts in the exhaust and the rear cylinder manifold is shorter and narrower than the one on the Euro 4 model.
Further, engineers at Borgo Panigale have also gone on to change the materials used so that the amount of pollutants coming out of the system is less.
Despite being strangled a bit by the new rules, power figures remain the same. Thus, the 1103cc V4 engine makes 208 HP at a bonkers 12,750 RPM and 123 Nm at 9500 RPM.
Those who have a strong memory would be able to tell that the peak power and torque are made lower in the rev range in comparison with the Euro 4 engine.
As mentioned above, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S now gets a new Dark Stealth pain scheme along with the existing Ducati Red colour option, while the V4 model can be had only with Ducati Red paint scheme.
