Gets new mirrors for better visibility

The Indian 2-wheeler maker has launched the updated 2021 Bajaj Platina 100 ES (Electric Start). It comes with a price tag of Rs. 53,920/- (ex-showroom).

Bajaj Auto claims the 2021 Bajaj Platina 100 ES is the most affordable Electric-Start bike in the market. The commuter motorcycle is available in Cocktail Wine Red and Ebony Black colour options.

The Platina 100 ES gets a couple of new updates including a spring-in-spring suspension setup which the company claims offers better ride comfort for both the pillion and the rider.

The bike also gets revised rear view mirrors that adds to the styling and improves visibility. Other updates include tubeless tyres, 20 percent longer front and rear suspension, long seat, LED DRL and wide rubber footpads for better grip.

The Platina 100 is powered by a 102cc single-cylinder engine which produces 7.9 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 8.34 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. It is mated to a 4-speed transmission.

Bajaj Auto is also preparing to launch the 110 version of the Platina with ABS soon that will get a host of other updates including cosmetic changes.
