Audi has launched the 2021 A4 with a starting price tag of Rs. 42.34 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India, today.
Available in Premium Plus and Technology trims, the luxury sedan comes with revised styling. The singleframe grille is new and broader and is flanked by new LED headlights with signature DRLs.
Along the sides, the glass area is fairly decent, while 2 distinctive lines cut into the doors. At the rear, there are new LED tail lights with dynamic indicators, redesigned bumper and twin exhaust outlets.
The whole car looks subtle, despite some bold design elements, and Audi says it looks the way it does to enhance aerodynamics and ensure greater efficiency. In all, there are 5 colours available with the sedan, including a new Terra Grey shade.
Inside, the standard Premium Plus trim gets Aluminium Ellipse inlays, leather/leatherette upholstery, 10.1-inch touchscreen with a new operating system, a sunroof, Audi Smartphone Interface, among other features.
There are several convenient features like the comfort key that allows keyless entry and gesture-based boot lid opening. The boot space is 460 litres by the way.

Powered by a new 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 190 HP and 320 Nm of torque, the 2021 Audi A4 40 TFSI is mated to a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox. It can sprint to 100 km/hr from nought in 7.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 241 km/hr.
Further, the engine is assisted by a 12 V mild hybrid system that comes with a belt alternator starter which shuts off the engine while coasting up to 10 seconds between 55 km/hr and 160 km/hr, while brake recuperation is there as well.
To ensure the 2021 Audi A4 customers have a hassle-free driving experience, the German firm offers a 4-year comprehensive service package including extended warranty and road side assistance with the sedan.
