2021 Aprilia RSV4
Aprilia’s top bikes’ design is inpsired by its latest middleweight

Aprilia has revealed the 2021 model year RSV4 and Tuono V4 with new styling, updated electronics and better ergonomics.

Like before, both motorcycles can be had in Standard and Factory variants, but the fully-faired superbike comes with a bit more changes this time around.

2021 Aprilia RSV4 –

The revised styling of the superbike is inspired by the RS 660‘s looks. Thus, the headlight unit, shape of the body and even the fuel tank are all new and the winglets are integrated with the fairing.

Ergonomics is something the Italian firm has also worked upon and it promises a more relaxed riding position (there is a new seat too) even in its litre-class superbike.

Similarly, the motorcycle receives a new swingarm, inspired by the RS-GP race bike, a new and larger TFT screen and an updated electronics package which means it comes with the latest Marelli 11MP ECU and 6-axis IMU.

There is ride-by-wire, different engine braking levels, 3 ride modes for the track, 2 for the road and additional user-selectable modes both for circuit- and street-riding along with adjustable traction control, ABS, wheelie control, etc.

The more premium Factory version comes as standard with forged aluminium wheel rims, Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension system and Brembo Stylema brake calipers.

Most importantly, the 2021 Aprilia RSV4 now has a 1099cc engine that is Euro 5-compliant and puts out 217 HP, while the exhaust system, says Aprilia, is also new.

While the standard variant of the 2021 Aprilia RSV4 is available in Dark Losail colour option, the Factory version can be had in Aprilia Black and Lava Red.

2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 –

The Tuono V4 is regarded as one of the best motorcycles made period. So, why change the recipe? Thus, it continues to sport the same 1077cc motor that puts out 175 HP and 121 Nm and is also Euro 5-approved.

However, the design is new here too, with there also being a more protective fairing, while Aprilia has also the raised handlebar, increased the saddle space and lowered the foot pegs for riders to have better comfort.

Other than the visual and ergonomic differences, there is little to differentiate between the Tuono V4 and its fully-faired twin. All the electronic package changes are carried over too.

Colour options on the Tuono V4 for the 2021 model year are Tarmac Grey and Glacier White for the standard trim and Aprilia Black for the Factory variant.
