Triumph has updated the Street Triple RS with more power, features and new styling for 2020.
The Triumph Street Triple RS is the range topping variant of the Street Triple series. The bike is quite popular amongst enthusiasts and it has now got an update. After teasing about the launch recently, Triumph Motorcycles has finally taken the wraps off. The 2020 Street Triple RS has been revealed completely.
The super naked motorcycle gets a substantial update which includes new styling, updated list of features and a more powerful engine. The signature bug-eyed headlights get the most prominent update with LED treatment that looks very sharp. There is new bodywork with new colours, updated mirrors and new materials for better aesthetics.
The 2020 Street Triple RS gets more features too. It comes with an adjustable TFT display which gets Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with GoPro camera, turn-by-turn navigation, phone and music functions.
Powering the updated Street Triple RS is a 765cc, in-line 3-cylinder engine that produces 121 HP at 11,750 RPM and 79 Nm of torque at 9350 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.
Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable Showa big piston 41 mm inverted fork at the front and fully adjustable Öhlins piggyback shock at the rear. The British bike maker is offering Brembo brakes and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP v3 tyres.
The 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS comes with Track, Sport, Road and Rain riding modes along with a new customisable Rider mode. There is a new exhaust system too. We can expect Triumph to introduce the updated version soon in the Indian market.
