The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa gets 2 new colours – Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red.
Suzuki has now offered the 2020 Hayabusa in India at a whopping price of Rs. 13.75 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the last batch of the BS4-compliant model and will be available in limited numbers. What’s new? The ultimate sportbike gets a new front brake caliper and is offered in 2 new color schemes – Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red.
Mechanically, the new Suzuki Hayabusa is the same as the previous year’s model. It is powered by the same 1340cc in-line-four engine producing 199.7 PS of peak power and 155 Nm of torque. Enthusiasts need not worry as the next-generation Hayabusa is likely to be offered with new power figures. It is expected that the next-generation bike will be based on the same mill that powers the current model but with an increased displacement and revised cylinders. It is to be noted, that India is one of the few countries where the current generation Hayabusa is offered on sale.
The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa rivals the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R (Rs. 19.70 lakhs). The motorcycle continues to make its way to India via the CKD (Completely Knock Down) route. It is assembled at SIMPL’s factory in Gurgaon. As per some dealers, the delivery of the bikes will begin on 20th January 2019.
