Skoda has started accepting bookings for the Superb facelift in India.
Skoda revealed the Superb facelift for the Indian market at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Czech carmaker showcased both the L&K and Sportline variants which will be offered in the country.
Bookings for the Superb facelift have commenced online for Rs. 50,000/-. The price is likely to be announced soon while the deliveries will commence once the operations across the country normalise.
One thing to notice here is the fact that Skoda is not offering the red colour option in the Sportline trim of the Superb that was showcased at the Auto Expo.
The 2020 Superb Sportline will come in three colour options – Moon White, Race Blue and Steel Grey. The L&K will be offered in 5 colour options – Lava Blue, Magic Black, Magnetic Brown, Business Grey and Moon White.
The Superb won’t come with diesel engine option anymore. The facelifted model will be offered with a single 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol BS6 compliant engine producing 190 HP and 320 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DSG auto.
The updated Superb comes with new full-LED Matrix headlights, new grille, revised bumper, new alloys and chrome embellishments on the exterior.
There is a new all-digital Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, new touchscreen infotainment system and wireless charging feature on offer along with more updates. It is expected to come with a higher price tag of around Rs. 29 lakhs (ex-showroom).
